Chapter 7
It was later that day and Jake avoided Rocky
like the plague. It also wasn‟t long before most of
the kids around campus talked about Rocky and his
new transformation.
It was now time for the practice game Coach
Kennedy set up to prepare the Panthers for the State
Championship game.
The Panthers were at one of the field warming
up and the Bisbee Cougars were at the other end of
the field warming up. Rocky wasn‟t on the field at
this time.
There were about 5,000 people in the stands to
watch this game and most were students. Amongst
the spectators were Ernie, Mitch, Sal and Johnny.
“Okay Ernie, this better not be a fucking joke,”
Sal said while he squeezed Ernie‟s kneecap.
Ernie cringed in pain. “Don‟t worry,” he replied
in pain but knew his plan was working.
On the field, the Cougars and Panthers stilled
warmed up.
“Where the hell is Rocky?” Red asked Jake
while they looked around the field.
Coach Kennedy walked out onto sidelines and
saw his players.
Mindy and the cheerleaders walked out to the
sidelines to practice their new cheers for the
championship game.
“Welcome to the practice game between the
Panthers and the Bisbee Cougars. As soon as our
superstar Rocky Malone gets on the field, we can do

the coin toss and get started,” the announcer said
from the loud speakers.
The referees walked the center of the field.
The Panthers and Cougars walked out to the
center of the field.
Then the crowd cheered the second they saw
Rocky run out onto the field from the locker room.
The marching band started playing the Bellwood
theme song.
“Well, with a roar like that can only mean one
thing. And that being our superstar Rocky Malone
has entered the field,” the announcer said from the
loud speakers.
Rocky sashayed across the field with his
bleached blonde hair; his jersey was tied in a knot to
his left side that also left his mid-drift exposed. He
also wore a pink scarf tied around his neck and had
those pink shoes.
The rest of the Panther team saw Rocky and
they all questioned his appearance.
Coach Kennedy saw Rocky and looked
confused while he watched him sashay across the
field. He removed his hat and scratched his bald
head. “What the hell is wrong with him?” he said.
Mindy and the cheerleaders looked confused
while they watched Rocky sashay across the field.
The whole stadium saw Rocky and they all
stared with a questioning look while he sashayed
across the field.
Stefon stood with a tray full of bottled water and
he stared in disbelief at Rocky.
The marching band stopped playing their theme
song.
“I don‟t fucking believe it,” Red said in disbelief.
“We‟re in deep shit,” Red said while Rocky ran
onto the field.

“Please don‟t feel up my crotch!” Jake quietly
prayed.
Two of the Cougar players stared at Rocky in
disbelief.
“What the fuck is that?” the one player asked the
other.
“I think it's their superstar Rocky Malone,” the
other player replied.
“No way!” a third player joined in on their
conservation.
You could hear a pin drop while the whole
stadium stared in shock at Rocky.
The announcer's mouth dropped to the floor,
and he was speechless. “Ha, We, Ha, We see that
Rocky Malone is extremely color coordinated today,”
he said into the microphone. He covered his
microphone, and leaned over to the guy to his right.
“Is that Rocky Malone or one of the Powder Puff
girls?”
The guy to his right was speechless, and shook
his head, and shrugged his shoulders indicating he
didn‟t have a clue.
The referee‟s stood in the center of the field with
the Panthers and Cougars. They all watched while
Rocky sashayed over to them.
Rocky stood by his teammates. “Hi girlfriends.
Are we ready to rumble?” Rocky asked him with a
softer, sweeter and more feminine voice and placed
his hands on his hips.
They stared at Rocky for a few seconds.
“Okay. Let get this coin toss out of the way.
Cougars call it,” the lead referee said.
“Heads,” the Cougar quarterback called.
Rocky giggled like a girl over hearing that word.
